Profiles in Marketing Excellence: More valuable marketing content coming to the DMN3 Institute Blog. If you are a regular reader of the DMN3 Blog, you know that, up to now, I’ve authored all of the blog posts. That’s about to change. Continue reading to find out how…
Beginning next week, we are adding the insights of other marketing experts to the DMN3 Institute Blog. Our first step is to post interviews with marketers who excel at what they do. Marketing gurus from both large and small organizations will share their perspectives about the marketing industry today and the influences that guided them to their current executive marketing positions.
The DMN3 Institute under the guidance of its founder, Pam Lockard, conducted 25 interviews with marketing pros and educators. The 25 chosen for profiles are marketing leaders serving in a variety of roles within the marketing world, including marketing executives, educators, and consultants. They are all marketing veterans and have contributed to the marketing field through their speaking and publication efforts.
“I have always been interested in successful marketing leadership. I was curious to know what makes other successful marketers tick” said Lockard.
While many are not household names, they are pillars of the marketing industry, working for such companies as Hewlett-Packard (HP), Google, Kodak, JC Penney and Laura Mercier. Others are marketing entrepreneurs and marketing educators with lots of academic credentials.
Their words offer a chance for both those entering the marketing profession and seasoned marketers to gain valuable insights. These marketing pros attained their current positions because they’ve been successful at achieving positive marketing outcomes. Their work is mostly behind the scene as they steer their organizations through the constantly evolving work of marketing and advertising.
Read their stories about their success and setbacks during their marketing careers. Take advantage of the insights and advice they offer to novices and experienced marketers. See what they think are the future challenges to the marketing profession.
Jim Pawlak, a nationally syndicated book reviewer writes; “The advice of these 25 marketing gurus should be heeded by those on all rungs of the marketing ladder –as well as students considering a career in marketing.”
If you don’t want to wait for all of them to be posted, you can acquire a copy of all 25 profiles in book form by visiting www.profilesinmarketingexcellence.com.
This blog will provide a forum for their views over the coming months. By doing so, we believe that the DMN3 Institute can do a better job at informing those interested in marketing. Marketing education, training and research are fundamental to the role laid out by its founder, Pam Lockard. For additional information about the DMN3 Institute go to: www.dmn3.com/institute.
